Resources for journalists, reporters, and media covering D'Andre Lampkin's campaign for Ontario City Council, District 3.

About the Campaign

D'Andre Lampkin is a candidate for Ontario City Council, District 3, in the November 2026 election and a longtime Ontario resident with a record of public safety, civic leadership, emergency management, nonprofit service, and community development.

He founded the D'Andre D. Lampkin Foundation in 2017, which has helped provide food assistance to more than 1,100 families, awarded thousands of dollars in higher-education scholarships, prepared hundreds of residents for natural disasters and emergencies, and supported efforts to promote a complete count in Ontario during the 2020 Census so the community could receive its fair share of federal representation and resources. Lampkin and Foundation volunteers have also supported relief and recovery efforts following disasters including Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, the 2018 Woolsey Fire, the 2021 Ontario fireworks explosion, the 2024 Bridge Fire, and the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires.

A Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff, Ontario Planning Commissioner, California POST-certified Academy Instructor, and 2023 American Legion California Law Enforcement Officer of the Year for Community Service, Lampkin brings extensive experience in public safety, emergency preparedness, and community leadership.

He is also a published scholar whose work has appeared in law reviews, scholarly journals, and municipal-policy publications examining subjects including climate change, environmental policy, mental health and public safety, housing, land use, emergency management, and community resilience.

His candidacy is rooted in a record of service that predates the campaign and in a commitment to bringing informed, community-first leadership to District 3 as its residents prepare to directly elect their Council representative.
